Warranty Terms and Repair Policy
At Charles Joinery Design, we take pride in crafting high-quality, handcrafted doors. We offer a 2-year warranty on all our products, covering material and manufacturing defects. However, the warranty is only valid under the following conditions:
Warranty Conditions
Installation by a Qualified Professional
To ensure proper functionality and durability, the door must be installed by a qualified professional. We are not responsible for any issues resulting from improper installation.Topcoat Paint Required Before Installation
Our doors are delivered with a primer coat, which does not provide adequate protection against weather conditions. The door must be treated with a proper topcoat before installation; otherwise, the warranty will be void.Avoiding External Damage
The warranty does not cover damages caused by mechanical impact, improper use, extreme weather conditions, excessive moisture, or insufficient maintenance.
Failure to comply with these conditions will automatically void the warranty. Please ensure proper installation and surface treatment to maintain warranty coverage.
Repair Process
If your door develops a defect within the warranty period, the following steps will be taken:
Reporting and Evaluation
- The issue must be reported in writing via our contact page.
- Please provide photos and a detailed description of the problem.
- Our experts will review the case and determine whether the defect is covered under warranty or not.
Warranty Repairs
- If the defect is covered by the warranty, the repair will be carried out in our workshop.
- The cost of transportation and repair will be fully covered by our company.
- Once the repair is complete, the door will be returned to the customer.
Non-Warranty Repairs
- If the defect is not covered (e.g., improper installation, weather damage, mechanical impact), the customer may request a repair at their own expense.
- In such cases, the transportation and repair costs will be the customer's responsibility.
- The repair duration and cost will be determined based on the extent of the damage.
